Salma Group started its humble services to the Leather Industry by way of distributing chemicals from M/s. Schill & Seilacher AG, Germany, initially, and over a period of many years has grown into an organization which imports Chemicals from Germany, Italy, France, etc and supplies the same to our customers in Chennai and across India.

Salma Group import leather in different stages from various suppliers around the world, particularly from Italy, Senegal, Germany, Ethiopia, Iran, Yemen, Saudi, Abu Dhabi, France, U.K. etc. We import Sheepskins, Goatskins, Cow Hides, Bull Hides, Calf Hides, Camel Hides, Ox/Heifers in Raw, Dry Salted, Pickled, Crust and Wet Blue. The origins of the material are North German, South German, Dutch, Senegal, Ukrainian, Saudi, Australian and Marino. We are also dealing with finished leather and shoe suede.

Shoe
Shoe Division imports Shoe Finishes, Polishes and Creams for Shoes and wide range of Adhesives from Italy for the Shoe Industry. Also supplies various Shoe Components and Accessories from various companies from Italy like Hot Melt Adhesives, Masonite Boards, Soles required for Shoe factories.

Machinery
Salma Group are importers of all types of Tannery Machines like Automation of Drums, Shaving Machines, Splitting Machines, Roller Coating Machines and Laboratory Drums etc., We import these machines from various principals in Germany, Italy, Turkey, and Switzerland. We also give excellent service to our customers who bought machineries from us.

Textile
The requirements of the market of today has brought a shift from the classical textile finishes to specialty products. We are importers of Specialty Finishing Chemicals such as Flame Retardants, Water and Oil Repellent, Antistatic for all types of textiles in Cotton, Wool, Silk, Viscose, Polyester, Nylon, Acrylic, Polyolefin and their mixtures and also for glass fiber fabrics.

Rubber & Latex
We are representing M/S. Schill + Seilacher, Germany & M/S. Struktol Company of America for Process Additives and Specialty chemicals. Our process additives are widely used in Rubber processing, Plastics & Latex to improve better processing and to increase productivity. In Specialty chemicals, we are having low temperature flexibility oil and mould cleaning compounds for easy cleaning of moulds and to increase the production. We are having different types of Process Additives with respect to Polymers and Applications. We are the major suppliers to the tyre Industries, Gloves Industries and also to Technical Goods Manufacturers for achieving their specifications.

Antifoam & Silicones
We import Antifoaming agents which are required for processing Potatoes and Vegetables for the food industry and for the production of Sugar. The Enzyme and Antibiotics industry is another customer. In addition to that we are also the importers of antifoams, Polydespersions, Silicone emulsions. In Silicones we are also importing Silanes.
